This is the section I get to tell you about me. So here it is as succinct as I can put it. I am a 41 year old lady from the Pacific Northwest. I have three children, 1 daughter and 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. I’ve been married 25 years in December. I have been urged and nudged to jump on the blogger wagon for some time and I suppose I find now is the time! Why am I here? Mostly because I say and do things that people want me to share with… well; you!

I am a seamstress to the core, I can sew just about anything.  I also have found that I have an almost pornographic love for fiber arts, like spinning my own yarn *shivers* The feel of puffy poofy shiny soft lovely fibers of all types.  So you will find some of my wares here, fibers to spin for yourself from time to time, yarns that I have spun and sometimes you may find something I’ve knit with my handspun.

I am a Master Recycler in the county I live in. For those that don’t know what that is, it’s a 12 week program that I went through to get certified in our county to handle recyclables in the appropriate way, so I can volunteer for community service!

So that’s pretty much it in a nut shell… or at least all my basics.

P.s. I love interaction so please feel free to drop me a comment or question. ❤

  1. I love, love love your floor! I am, in fact, in the middle of attempting the same floor, minus the design. I am using the Ram board though because my floor is not in the best shape. This is a long term temporary fix! Long term because although I have big plans for a new kitchen one day, it doesn’t seem to fit in anytime soon. My question to you is what did you put in the joints of the Ram board? Thanks for an awesome idea. I can’t wait till it’s finished.
    Thanks,
    Vicky 🙂
